Is there really a Lamborghini hoverboard?

If you want to turn heads and know that you are riding one of the world’s top spec hoverboards, then you might be interested to know that a company called Two Dots has made a hoverboard in collaboration with the famous Italian car brand Lamborghini.

It looks every bit as expensive, sleek and stylish as you’d expect and according to reviews, it is two times more powerful than some of the fastest hoverboards on the market and of course, it has passed all the safety certification.

The makers of the Die Another Day car, have really come up with a hoverboard that looks and rides just like a Lambo.

Reviews rate the Two Dots Lamborghini Hoverboard highly for its battery, intelligent ride sensors, a training mode for new riders, a high performance motor that can tackle monster hills and the fact that it can handle riders weighing up to 264lbs.

However, it’s expensive, the battery takes a long time to charge and the plastic casing marks easily – not what you want when you’re riding a Lamborghini!

The Lamborghini 8.5” All Terrain, comes with the brands iconic red lights too, which adds to the authenticity.

Smart body sensors make it easy to balance and provide stability to give you a smooth ride over practically any surface. It uses a unibody design, which means that it is closer to the ground and twists – this adds smoothness to the acceleration, turning and stopping processes. And just for a bit of fun, it the motor also sounds a bit like a supercar in action!

Unlike most Hoverboard batteries, which last around four hours, the Lamborghini hoverboard, gives you six hours worth of power. It has UL2272 safety certification, so you know that it’s been through every EU safety test imaginable and it has LED blinker lights, which let pedestrians know that you are approaching.

It also has explosion proof tires, a low battery indicator, smart weight sensing, circuit protection, a temperature gauge, anti fire shell and a smart fault detection mechanism, which will alert you if anything goes wrong with the board, so that you can get it seen to before it develops into a bigger problem.

The Lambo hoverboard has dual 400W motors and travels at speeds of up to 14.5km/h, which is in line with some of the most powerful hoverboards that Official Hoverboard sells.

The Lamborghini hoverboard comes in a range of colours including blue, gold and purple with built in Bluetooth speakers. There is also a downloadable smartphone app, that enables you to track your rides and to modulate the throaty Lambo roar that the motors make – if you find that too embarrassing, you can always switch to silent.

It’s a solid, cool piece of kit, which is best for experienced riders, which will set you back around $329 – a lot cheaper than a Lambo, that won’t give you much change out of £200K.
